From a 1.5 ton capacity pick-up to a 95 ton capacity low-loader and everything inbetween, we’ve almost certainly got the solution to your transport problem.
Haulage is our specialty, from general plant and machinery haulage to the more specialized heavy and abnormal load movements, our experience puts us above the rest. We thrive where others say it cant be done.
Tractors, plant, engineering equipment, cabins, caravans, pontoons, giant babies and even the figurehead from HMS Calcutta- over the years we’ve moved it all! From the planning stages right through to the final destination, our small, dedicated team is able to help. We carry our all of the admin work, including notifying the authorities where necessary, providing escorts and organizing the loading and unloading- all you have to do is let us know what you want moved and when and we’ll do the rest!
We have smaller rigid and wagon and drag combinations for more difficult to access sites, and we have even been known to use one of our agricultural tractors to take trailers across fields before to get items where normal HGV’s cant go.
Up to 14 feet tall, 120 feet long and whatever will fit between the hedges, we have extendable trailers and all the associated equipment to deal with larger loads.
With our own escort vehicles we are also able to provide escort services to other hauliers where necessary.

What are the maximum dimensions of a load you can move?
We are limited only by the legal maximum dimensions for a road vehicle, and the physical dimensions of the route we need to take. We have moved items up to 14 feet tall, 120 feet long and as wide as the hedges will allow on numerous occasions before. When it comes to abnormal loads we tend to work on the motto of “where there’s a will, there’s a way!”
Will my load be insured?
Yes. Our load coverage is well above the average for the industry, and we can even arrange special insurance if necessary. All of our drivers are fully trained and used to loading, transporting and unloading the oddest of items.
Do you deliver abroad?
Whilst we don’t travel overseas we do offer a dock delivery system, which includes loading onto the boat if necessary. For items that need to travel on a lorry all the way we have contacts that regularly run internationally with whom we can arrange a door to door delivery on your behalf.
Can you store my item?
We have a large, purpose built yard at Hele, near Exeter. This provides us with plenty of secure storage space for machines and other items where necessary. We can also offer undercover storage for those most valuable of items. With cranage facilities on site, loading and unloading is made simple.
